¡ôMulti-medium (quartz sand) filter-HAS-S series:
¡¡
HISUN multi-medium filters of HSG-S series are capable of trapping suspended impurities on filter bed so as to reduce water turbidity. Normally flow-in water with turbidity less than 15, flow-out water could reach China¡¯s Standards for Drinking Water Quality after primary filtration. The effects of filtration are not only on further reduction of water turbidity, but also on removal of some organic matter, bacteria and virus.
Multi-medium filters are widely used to filter drinking water, swimming pool water and industrial water. They also serve as prefilters for preparing softened pure water and highly pure water. Normally such materials as quartz sand, anthracite coal and granular porous ceramics could be used as filter mediums.
Serving pretreatment function, multi-medium filters are inseparable part of such water treatment systems as RO (reverse osmosis), ED (electrodialysis) and ion exchanger. |

¡ôIron and manganese removal filter of HSG-M type:
China is rich in groundwater resources, but many of them contain excessive iron and Manganese. Water with excessive iron content has an iron taste, thus affecting water taste. In the case that such water is used as process water in textile, chemical engineering, paper making and leather making as well as printing and dyeing, product quality of above-mentioned industries will be lowered.
Such water also could cause scale incrustation on household appliance as pottery basins and bathtubs. Iron sediments in water pipes could cause pipe blockage, bacteria growth and even red water.
Water with excessive manganese content could cause similar problems.
HISUN iron and manganese removal devices are developed and manufactured based on latest technological achievements. After being treated by such device, iron in water is less than 0.3mg/l and manganese less than 0.1mg/l, reaching China¡¯s Standards for Drinking Water Quality (GB5749-85). |

¡ôActive carbon filter-HSG-H:
The mesh size of granular active carbon within the filter is 8-16. Active carbon made from nutshell or coconut shell is often used for pure water filtration.
Active carbon filter normally functions after quartz or manganese sand filter works. By absorption, the filter removes impurities such as organic matters, colloids and residual chlorine left in water. The device has notable effects on chroma reduction, removal of harmful compounds such as CPs and THMs. It is also capable of absorbing ferrous iron (Fe+2) and other heavy metals to a certain degree.
Beverage industry adopts active filters to improve taste of their products.
By conducting water pretreatment, active carbon filters could well protect such devices as RO, ED and water softener. As it can¡¯t be recycled by backwashing, saturated active carbon must be replaced timely.
